Dornie hall is an excellent venue for all types of events, parties,dances,wedding receptions,exhibitions,music events, meetings and exercise classes.

Main Hall

The main hall has a high ceiling, dimmable lighting and wall-mounted space heaters.It has a sprung wooden floor, excellent for sports and dancing. There is a badminton court marked out on the floor. The dimensions of hall are 9 x 18m.

There is a substantially sized stage (9 x 4m) with stage lighting. There is a large drop down screen suitable for showing films or presentations as well as a portable smaller screen. We also have a induction loop system fitted in the hall.

The hall can seat up to 180 theatre style or over 100 caberet style, It has folding chairs and rectangular tables for use or you can hire in furniture according to your needs.

Upper committee room/Rear Stage area

This small room is suitable for backstage purposes such as a changing room or equipment set-up for stage performances. Additionally there are two extra dressing rooms with toilets and hot and cold water sinks.This area is not suitable for disabled access.

Kitchen

The kitchen is designed and fitted out to commercial standards. It has a 6-burner gas cooker, full height fridge, plain white crockery, cutlery and a commercial dishwasher. Wedding glassware is also available on request.

It is spacious with substantial working space and two stainless steel layout tables and two 3-shelf trolleys. Any equipment or supplies can be taken directly into the kitchen from the area at the rear of the hall.

Bar area

Between the main hall and the kitchen, there is a small bar area with a serving hatch. A mobile bar can also be installed in the meeting room or main hall.

Meeting room

Suitable for up to 16 people, boardroom style, it can be hired separately from the main hall.
It's suitable for small events or can be used as a larger bar for bigger functions. 

In the main foyer, there is a disabled toilet and shower cubicle. The main toilets are in the extension area and have both male/female and disabled toilets.
