The upgraded and extended hall is an excellent venue for all types of events, wedding receptions, exhibitions,drama or music events, meetings and seminars.
The main hall is slightly larger than a badminton court, has a high ceiling, dimmable and sports lighting and wall-mounted space heaters. It has a sprung wooden floor, excellent for sports and dancing. Its dimensions are 9 x 18m.
There is a substantially sized stage (9 x 4m) complete with brand new stage lighting which can be operated from backstage or from a control board at the other end of the hall there is also a snake fitting which will allow remote sound mixing. There is a large drop down screen suitable for showing films or presentations as well as a portable smaller screen. We also have a induction loop system fitted in the hall.
The hall can seat up to 180 theatre style or over 100 caberet style, and has folding chairs and rectangular tables or you can hire in furniture according to your needs.

Upper committee room/Rear Stage area
This small room is suitable for backstage purposes such as a changing room or equipment set-up for stage performances. Additionally there are two extra dressing rooms with toilets and hot and cold water sinks.This area is not suitable for disabled access.
The brand new kitchen is designed and fitted out to commercial standards. It has a 6-burner gas cooker, full height fridge, crockery and cutlery for 160 people and a commercial dishwasher. Wedding glassware is also available on request.
It is spacious with substantial working space and two stainless steel layout tables as well as 2 3-shelf trolleys. Any equipment or supplies can be taken directly into the kitchen from the area at the rear of the hall.
Between the main hall and the kitchen, there's a small bar area with a serving hatch. A mobile bar can also be installed in the Meeting room.
Another new addition to the hall is the meeting room. Suitable for up to 16 people boardroom style, it can be hired separately from the main hall. It's also suitable for events like small whist drives or can be used as a larger bar for bigger functions.
In the main entrance, there is a reasonably-sized gathering area with a disabled toilet and shower cubicle. The main toilets are in the new extension and have both male/female and disabled toilets.
